Cinenord focuses on development and production of mainstream feature films. The company was established in 2004 and has since then produced two Norwegian feature films and co-produced three Swedish and Danish features. In 2008 the company will produce two more features for the Scandinavian market.

Cinenord is owned and operated by producers Tanya Badendyck and Silje Hopland Eik. Both graduates from the Norwegian National Film School.
Cinenord has received slate funding from both The Norwegian Film Fund and from EU MEDIA.


Silje Hopland Eik
After graduating from film school, Silje established Tempo, a production company specializing in low-budget commercials. She is co-owner and board member of the Scandinavian TV channel Skandinavia. In 2005 Silje attended the MEDIA programme EAVE.

Tanya Nanette Badendyck
Tanya started her film studies with Film History and Theory at Lillehammer University College in 1996. She continued on to a Bachelor’s degree in film production from the Norwegian National Film School. After graduation in 2002 she joined Dinamo Story where she worked on several features and also as Head of Development. In 2005 Tanya attended the MEDIA program “North by Northwest” as a script editor.
